Taking the story from Deià to the heart of Mallorca — building support across sectors.
Introduction
Regenera Deià isn’t just a local initiative — it’s a framework for holistic regeneration that resonates across Mallorcan society, public and private sectors, and political spectrums. Presenting the project at the Climate Academy in Palma was a key moment in amplifying that message.
The Story
In the vibrant setting of Palma’s Climate Academy, we stood shoulder-to-shoulder with decision makers, public officials, institutional leaders and private partners. The room represented a cross-section of those who shape policy, planning, investment and community impact.
Joe Holles had the opportunity to share the vision, progress, and values of Regenera Deià — not just as a project, but as a blueprint for collaborative action in one of the island’s most valuable and threatened ecosystems.
The response affirmed something we already knew: when regeneration is framed holistically — bridging ecology, culture, economy and community — it resonates widely. Building support across sectors — from municipal leaders to private investors, from NGOs to land custodians — accelerates not just awareness, but meaningful engagement.
What It Tells Us
Regeneration thrives when it becomes a shared language — one that bridges differences and unites around care for places and people.
